Overview
Danipa Pay's coverage is rolled out country by country. Today the platform is live in Ghana as a receive-side destination, with sending available from Canada and the United States. Additional African destinations are infrastructure-ready and will activate as we complete partner integrations.
If your country isn't listed below, you can still create an account and use any unlocked features — just send/receive will be unavailable until your country goes live.
Live Countries
Ghana (GH)
Status: Live for receiving funds. Currency: GHS (Ghanaian Cedi). Mobile money provider: MTN Mobile Money. Send corridors: CAD → GHS, USD → GHS.
KYC Requirements

Sending to Ghana
Senders in Canada or the United States can fund a Danipa wallet (with a card via Stripe) and pay out to a Ghanaian recipient's MTN MoMo account. Express delivery typically lands within an hour; Economy is 1–2 business days. See the Send Money guide for the full flow.

- E-Levy and other regulatory transfer taxes apply where applicable; the review screen shows the all-in cost before you confirm.

Sending from Other Countries
Sending currently works from Canada (CAD) and the United States (USD) only. The United Kingdom (GBP) corridor is built but disabled while we finalize a routing change — we'll re-enable it without a code change once that's resolved.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I receive money from someone in another African country?
Today, only Ghana is wired as a receive destination. We're prioritizing additional African destinations in 2026.
Why isn't my country showing in the dropdown?
The country picker only lists active countries. Once we activate a country, it appears automatically — you don't need to update the app.
Do KYC tiers work the same across all countries?
Yes — the four-tier system (NONE → BASIC → STANDARD → ENHANCED) is global. The only difference is which documents satisfy STANDARD and ENHANCED. See KYC Verification for the per-country document list.
