Earn rewards in GHS when friends and family join Danipa Pay through your referral link.

Overview
Refer someone to Danipa Pay and you both earn a reward when they sign up and complete their first qualifying transaction. Open Profile → Referral Program in the mobile app to find your link.
How it works
- Share your referral link with someone who doesn't have a Danipa Pay account yet.
- They sign up using the link (or enter your referral code during signup).
- They complete KYC to at least the verified tier (see KYC Verification).
- They make their first qualifying transaction.
- Both of you receive your reward in GHS, credited to your Danipa Pay wallet.

Rewards are credited directly to your Danipa Pay wallet within 24 hours of the qualifying action.
Find your link and code
In the mobile app:
- Open Profile → Referral Program.
- You'll see your unique referral link and a short referral code (e.g.
DANIPA-AB1234). - Tap Share to send via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or any other app.
- Tap QR code for an in-person referral that someone can scan.
If your friend signs up without using the link, they can still enter the referral code on the signup screen — both work.
Track your referrals
The Referral Program screen shows two views:
- My referrals — every person who has used your link or code, with their current status.
- Rewards — every reward you've earned, with the date and amount.
A referral moves through these statuses:

Limits

The reward limit is per calendar month and resets on the 1st. If a qualifying event would push you above the monthly cap it's skipped — the referred person still gets their reward.
Eligibility
- You must have a verified Danipa Pay account.
- The person you refer must be a new user — Danipa Pay matches phone and email to prevent duplicates.
- Self-referrals are not eligible.
When rewards can be reversed
Rewards may be withheld or reversed if:
- The referred account is fraudulent or registered with false details.
- The referral was obtained through spam, misleading messaging, or paid sign-up incentives.
- The referred person's first transaction is later refunded or reversed.
Tips
- Refer people who already send money. They'll see immediate value in fees, FX, and speed.
- Share the QR code in person. Faster than typing a link, and there's no chance of a typo.
- Mention the welcome bonus. Most people respond well to "you'll get GHS 5 too".
FAQ
When do I get my reward?
Within 24 hours of your referral completing their first qualifying transaction.
What if my friend signs up but doesn't use my link or code?
The referral can't be tracked, so no reward is issued. Always send the link or share the code first.
Can I refer someone who deleted their account?
No. The program is for new users only. A previously registered phone or email cannot be referred.
Can I use my referral rewards to send money?
Yes. Rewards land in your Danipa Pay wallet and can be spent on anything — sending, paying bills, or withdrawing.
